Do you accept credit or debit cards?

Yes, we accept all major credit and debit cards.

Do you accept cash?

Grant's Farm is cashless. If needed, you can exchange cash for a debit card at Grant's Farm Gifts near the tram drop-off.

When are you open?

For the most current hours, visit Grantsfarm.com. If the calendar shows "General Admission" we're open to the public. "Tours" means we are only open for tours, and blank dates indicate we're closed.

Can we bring our own food or drinks?

Outside food and drinks are not allowed, except for water. You're welcome to picnic in our designated area near the end of the parking lot.

Can I bring a wheelchair and board the tram?

Yes, Guests using wheelchairs can ride in the ADA compartment on the tram.

Can I bring a stroller?

Yes, we welcome strollers and have dedicated tram space for these items. Effective May 22, 2026, strollers must be less than 32 inches (81 cm) wide and 52 inches (132 cm) long.

Do you allow wagons at Grant's Farm?

No. Effective May 22, 2026, wagons will no longer be permitted in Grant's Farm.

Are stroller-wagons permitted?

Effective May 22, 2026, stroller wagons, whether pushed or pulled, will no longer be permitted at Grant's Farm.

Do you have strollers and wheelchairs available for rent?

Yes, we have a limited quantity of strollers and wheelchairs available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis.

What updates have you made to your strollers and wagons policy, and why?

In an effort to enhance safety and security throughout the guest experience, we have made the following updates to our policy:
1) We welcome strollers but they must be less than 32 inches (82 cm) wide and 52 inches (132 cm) long, measured across the widest and longest points.
2) Wagons and stroller wagons will no longer be permitted at the farm due to enhanced safety and security.

Can I bring in lawn chairs?

Outside chairs are not permitted. Limited seating is available throughout the farm.

Are pets allowed?

No pets are allowed for the safety of our animals and guests.

Are service animals allowed?

Yes. Service animals as defined by the ADA are permitted. Emotional support animals are not allowed.

Is there handicapped parking?

Yes, we have designated parking spaces in our parking lot. A parking attendant is available to assist with questions.

Can I bring my bike?

Yes. Bike racks are available near the steps from Grant's Trail; however, bikes, skateboards, scooters, and hoverboards are not allowed inside the farm. They must be parked in the designated area in the parking lot.

Where do we exit the parking lot?

The exit is located in the back left corner of the lot. Please follow the signs.

Where is Grant's Historical Site?

It's located just before the Grant's Farm parking entrance, in the large building to the right. Visit www.nps.gov/ulsg/index.htm for more information. Note: It is not affiliated with Grant's Farm.

Where's the Clydesdale Barn?

The Clydesdale Barn is located at the far end of the parking lot near the large red barn.

How do we enter Grant's Farm?

After parking, enter through the fence nearest Grant Road. Follow the white-fenced path, cross the crosswalk, and walk over the pedestrian bridge.

I have a tour booked—where do I go?

Behind-the-Scenes, Animal Encounter, History & Heritage Tours: Meet by the bike racks near the trail enterance. Clydesdale Tours: Head to the Clydesdale Barn patio area. Carriage Ride Tours: Meet at the black gate outside the Baurenhof Courtyard.

I'm here for a birthday party—where should I go?

Board the tram. Once in the Tiergarten, walk to the birthday gazebo near the Bauernhof Courtyard enterance.

Do we have to take the tram? Can we walk in?

All guests must ride the tram to enter and exit the farm.

Where are the restrooms at?

Restrooms are available within the Clydesdale Barn, outside the General Store, across from the gift shop in the Tiergarten enterance, at the Speisen Pub, and in the Bauernhof courtyard by the West Arch shop, at the Speisen Pub, and in the courtyard (right of the tram boarding archway).

Can my baby stay in the stroller on the tram?

For safety, children in strollers must be removed from strollers and seated with an adult on the tram. Wheelchair users may remain in their chair. Children under age 7 are required to sit in the middle seats for safety reasons.

Where can I buy Fun Passes?

Purchase Fun Passes at the Information Booth kioskat the tram drop-off at the Tiergarten enterance or online in advance. Online purchases are redeemed at the same kiosk.

Are the Fun Pass activites exchangeable?

No, Fun Pass activites are not exchangeable.

Can I touch or sit on the antique carriages?

No. For safety and preservation, guests are not allowed on the antique carriages.

Does the tram stop anywhere along the ride route?

No. The tram only stops once, at the Tiegarten drop-off location. Trams to exit back to the parking lot is located at the West Arch tram boarding exit in the Bauernhof Courtyard.

Where do we catch the tram to exit the farm?

Pick-up for return trams is located at the West Arch, outside the Bauernhof Courtyard. This is a different location from the tram drop-off in the Tiergarten.

Can we bring food or drinks on the tram?

Yes, but no alcoholic beverages. Only water is permitted to be brought into Grant’s Farm.

Where are the complimentary Anheuser-Busch samples located?

Inside the Bauernhof Courtyard at the Hospitality Bar.

Can I bring beer on the tram?

No alcohol is allowed on the tram.

Where can I find the popsicle included with the Fun Pass?

Popsicles are available at The Speisen Pub and the Trinken kiosk in the Courtyard.

Where can I get Dippin’ Dots?

Near The Speisen Pub.

What time are the animal shows?

Shows are at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 2:30 pm. An additional show runs at 3:30 pm during summer nights.

Are there age restrictions for tours?

No, all ages are welcome. The Clydesdale Tour is recommended for ages 9 and up.

Do we need to make reservations?

Reservations are not required. However, we recommend purchasing parking passes and seasonal experiences in advance online. During peak times, we may close temporarily if we reach capacity.

Are experiences affected by weather?

Yes. In inclement weather, animal shows, tram rides, carousel rides, and tours may be delayed or canceled. Severe weather may close the farm. Updates will be shared on our website and social media.

Do I need a tour to see the Budweiser Clydesdales?

No tour is needed. You can visit the World- Famous Budweiser Clydesdales and take photos with them at their barn in the far end of the parking lot.

When does the Budweiser Clydesdale Barn close?

5:00 pm.

Do you have food on-site?

Yes, we offer a variety of food options, including vegan and gluten-free. Visit the Dairy Shack, Grant’s Café, Speisen Pub in the Tier Garten, and Brat Haus, or food kiosks in the Bauernhof Courtyard.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my tour?

Email us at info@grantsfarm.com at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule. Cancellation fees apply. If we cancel due to weather, you’ll be notified by email, and updates will be posted on our website and social media.

Can I take professional photos or videos at Grant’s Farm?

Professional or commercial photography, video, or audio recording requires prior approval.

Can I fly a drone at Grant’s Farm?

No personal drones are allowed.

I have a concealed carry permit. Can I bring my weapon?

Weapons, including firearms and pocketknives, are not allowed—except for law enforcement with a valid ID.

Do you offer disposable straws?

No, for the safety of our animals.

Can children visit without an adult?

Guests under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
