ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Fans of Antiques Roadshow flocked to Grant’s Farm on Tuesday to have their treasures appraised.
More than 20,000 people applied for tickets, which was more than in any of the other five cities the show is taping in for the upcoming season.
At the event, patrons were paired with volunteer appraisers. The goal was to find something that could be used in the show.
“Because they don’t pay us to come here, so for us as appraisers, it’s really about branding. You want people to know that you’re out there,” explained Jon Delaney, an appraiser from Massachusetts.
